JST Regulations
1. The JST discount ticket.
With your JST discount ticket, there are a number of restrictions that you should be aware of before you book your flight.

1. There are no refunds on discount tickets. (Non-refundable)
2. Neither your flight out nor the return flight can be changed, except that the return flight can be changed on an open ticket.
3. No change can be made in the route plan.
4. No change can be made from one airline to another.(Non-endorsable)
5. The price of JST discount ticket will not be subject to change after the reservation.

2. Payment.
Please pay a deposit of 20,000 yen or 35,000 yen per person (the amount of deposit depends on the type of ticket) within 3 days of making the request for a booking.
If you don't pay within 3 days, please understand that we may have to cancel the booking.
We will ask you to pay the rest of your fare at least one month before your date of departure.
If you are making your reservation less than 14 days in advance of your departure, it is necessary to pay the full amount before we can book the reservation.

* Your discount ticket will be given at the airport. You are required to pay 5,250 yen if you need your ticket before your date of departure.
   You have a responsibility to pay for the delivery charge if we send you the ticket(s) by delivery service.
* You may be denied permission to board if we have not received the full amount.
* During peak seasons, we may not be able to make the round trip reservations as requested for an international flight from Japan.
   In such cases we will refund your payment in full.

3. Cancellation and re-scheduling fees of Discount Air Tickets.
In case you need to cancel, reschedule or add an extra flight, a handling fee will apply as follows.
Rebooking can be accepted only once. Cancellations are based on the day before your departure date.

Please ask about the type of cancellation and re-scheduling fees as follow.(It depends on each type of ticket)
We require to an additional flight charge of 3,150 yen each time you make a new arrangement 30 days before your departure.
We may refuse to add an extra flight in some situations. Depending on the type of ticket, we are required to reissue the ticket even if you purchase additional flight. In this case, it follows the cancellation rule above.
* If the last day of cancellation or rescheduling any flight coincides with a holidays (National or work), Airline office holiday or JST holiday       (Wednesday), the previous working day will be the last day to cancel or change your flight schedule.
*-1 For the following departure dates, in peak season, there will be both cancellation and re-scheduling fee charged as soon as the booking is confirmed. Departure date: Apr 27 - May 06, July 20 - Aug 31, Dec 20 - Jan 07.

* Flight changes cannot be made in the following cases.
- Unable to rebook for your requested date.
- Second time rebooking.
- Changing airline company.
* Once you are booked in an international flight, any changes due to problem with connection of domestic flight
(for example; from Nagoya, Osaka, or Fukuoka to Narita) you are still subject to cancellation charges.

- There will be a 10% cancellation fee at anytime after we issue the ticket.


4. Hotel re-booking & cancellation fees.
Hotel booking and reservations arrangements are provided to JST for JST Discount Air Ticket holders.
However any changes within 10 days of departure will result in a \3,150 service charge per hotel.
Be sure to check with JST regarding the regulations which apply to your hotel regarding cancellation fees.


5. Exemption from responsibility.
Please be aware that JST cannot be responsible for loss due to the following circumstance:
1. We can not be responsible for losses due to changes in flight schedules due to natural disasters; wars, riots, civil disturbances, strikes,
    or airline overbookings. These kinds of problems should be taken up with the airline company directly.

2 .If you miss a connecting flight due to changes in flight schedules of delays (for example: in immigration, customs, or baggage handling)
   that are beyond your control, see the airline company involved. JST cannot be liable for any resulting losses.

3. You must bear full responsibility if you miss your flight because of problems with your visas or your re-entry permit.
* Reservations must be made in the name that is on your passport.
* Make sure you have any visas that are necessary for your final destination.
* If you are not a Japanese citizen you may need to have a re-entry permit. Please go to the nearest immigration office.

4. If you are late for your meeting and cannnot board.
* Be careful during peak times. There may be heavy traffic and the airport may be crowded.
* Flight schedules sometimes change without advance notice. Confirm your departure times before each flight, particularly your return flight and all connecting flights.

5.If you lose your ticket or it is stolen, it cannot be replaced/reissued by JST.

6.You must reconfirm your return flight at least 4 days in advance of your flight (excluding Saturday and Sunday).


6. Miscellaneous points to watch out for.
1.The price of your discount ticket does not include airport taxes and surcharges.
2.We will take responsibility for troubles that occur at hotels for which we have issued coupons. But any trouble with reservations that we have made for as a service and for which you pay the hotel directly, must be worked out between you and the hotel directly. If the address or phone number are different/mistaken, please use telephone books or other free sources of information to find the correct information.
* We will not be able to refund the visa handling charges if your visa is rejected.
* The requested flight may not be reserved in some situations even though you place a request in advance. It is more likely to happen during the peak season.
* Please double check with the regulations written in Japanese.
